Tiphanie made me a sicksweater and sent it to me, and it arrived today! It’s a near perfect fit, which I’m happy about. It’s named Tiamet. Tiphanie, what does that name mean and why did you pick it?
For better pictures of the sweater, go to her blog… For now I just have one horrible picture because it’s a very warm sweater which doesn’t mesh well with a very warm outside. So I tried it on, admired it, took pictures, and took it off very quickly, before I overheated.

This afternoon I took a civil exam for a secretary classification job at the uni (there’s five different categories, only 2 are more along what people think of traditionally as secretarial), we’ll see how well I did on it… I was rather shaky and overtired after the test, but finally I started the new medical regimen this afternoon when I got home… I didn’t want to have severe side effects for the test, because I’d already postponed it once and you get strikes against you for doing so repeatedly. So far I don’t notice anything different with the new meds. I can’t help but want instant results ala Star Trek: The Next Generation, wouldn’t you?

This picture perfectly illustrates how together I’ve been feeling. And why knitting whilst on painkillers entails frogging rows, even with plain garter stitch.
Blergh.
