I was at the uni’s personnel services doing several job interviews from 8 am to 1230 pm today. Being “on” for many many hours, playing Friendly Client with rotating interpreters, laughing and making mild jokes and putting people at ease for hours….. Meh. I wasn’t ever nervous, but my battery? Fmmpt. Flat. Nothing left.
And thus I am so tired. So far I fell asleep on the sofa for 2 hours tonight, people who know me know I very rarely ever nap never mind fall asleep with the tv on and the light on. I think I was tired. I still am, that’s for sure.
