Ann and Cookie have had a Sunday Sock thing going for a little while now. And you know, I looked at my small pile of carnage my sockly pile, and thought, hey! I should participate!

I’m a single project knitter. I still am. They’re socks. Right? Socks.

These are my Koigu, knitted up on the size 1 (2.5 mm) Inox double pointed needles that mrs pao sent me! I finished the first and am working on the second.

The aqua and teal are hand dyed by moi emu dk yarn that I got from Chris. They’re on size 2 (3mm) Addi turbo circulars because they squeaked horribly on the 3mm Inoxes Tiphanie sent. And also because when I cram a sock in my bag, it’s better if it’s circulars and not double pointed needles… I don’t like circulars at all if it’s being knit while I watch tv though… Too many accidental yarnovers.

This is the start to the Lorna’s Laces sock that Lisa sent me, which is being knitted on size 0s (2mms). And I am a tiiiight knitter if it’s 56 around and still will only fit my big toe. Suggestions? The yarn is so thin I fear knitting it any looser…the fabric itself is nice.
Back to work on the Koigu…. A pair of socks would be nice. At the moment I have precisely one pair, the sockapaloooza ones. Seriously. I threw out all of my storebought socks because losing skin to latex allergic reactions was getting old. I think I mentioned that? Anyway. It’s a good thing I like sockknitting.
