closetal goodness

It warms my heart to have a carefully organized closet.

DSCN4484

I know it’ll either turn you on or terrify you. I love it. I love its orderliness, its labeledness…. And how the baskets on top solve the problem of having sixteen baskets and how best to use them. That space perfectly accomodates all sixteen, which is wonderful, and displays yarn, which I don’t have to tell you, is even more wonderful. The drawers hold my handknits and my sheets and my casual clothing (Yes. I have that little casual clothing. I am many things, but casual is not one of them.)

The closet width is perfect. Every top I have is hung up, every bottom I have is hung to the right, outside of view. Four laundry hampers, two storage boxes.

Pretty enough to leave open.

  1. Will you please come over to my house? I’ll pay you!

  2. I think I’m terrified!

  3. Wow. That’s impressive!

  4. beautiful!

    I love a well-organized, pretty closet!!

And I’m slowly making my whole house the same way…

  5. Heh, looks good. : )

  6. No green! White, pink, purple, blue… the closest to green is teal.

    You don’t like green?

  7. I’d be slightly tempted to re-organize it by color, rather than by type and color. But other than that? A marvel.

  8. I know it’ll either turn you on or terrify you

    Both! :)

I admire how the colors and neatness of your yarn stash perfectly match the color and neatness of the closet.

  9. No greens…I’ll send you a green sweater!

How do you organize the long sleeved tops (not buttoned)? Turtlenecks, sans turtlenecks, etc? Or thin to thick?

  10. [...] by Frarochvia’s mad organizational skills, I decided it was past time for me to reorganize some of my knitting [...]
