A scarf in two nights, again? Check! I know, I waxed poetic about the
whole notion of knitting what projects-as-results I wanted… and then I
went and knitted a garter stitch scarf because my brain and my hands
craved garter stitch. Garter stitch garter stitch garter stitch.
Garter stitch.
I love that there’s no caston row or bindoff row. Just one stitch to
begin with and one to end with. And after a bit, knowing which row was
the plain row and which was the slightly tangy row? Easy!

Gramma figured out the gimmick quickly and was impressed that it wasn’t
a regular horizional or vertical stitch.
The yarn was super-novelty but I never snagged it or split the two
plies, which was a minor miracle, if you ask me. Love it! It was fun to
knit and fun to admire and both boys tried to sleep on it.
