headband the first

It doesn’t look like much, and it was awfully simple - but I love it! Thanks to ravelry, it was easy to find something to knit when I wanted something to hold my hair out of my face, what with the hat hair lately. Oh winter, I love you except not so much with the love.. Taking hats off has been an adventure lately, what with the dry hair and the static and all…. you too? Is it just me? Do I suffer alone?

  1. It’s lovely! That’s one of my favorite lace patterns.

I avoid that problem by not wearing hats. :)

  2. Um. I have long hair. And curly. And unruly. And I have hat hair everyday. Not so much with the static, just mushed hat head hair.

But I’m liking the head band! Going to check it out.

  3. I always feel I’m the only one dealing with hat-hair problems. somehow everyone else seems to have found a secret to combatting it without telling me what it is. (or they are the crazy people I see waiting for the bus with no hat or anything when it’s -50 out)

  4. Pretty! I’d rather wear a headband than a hat unless it’s really, really cold.

  5. That headband is so pretty!

I have hat hair all the time because I wear hats even more to ward off the sun. Silly overhead lighting. Too bright. But since chopping all my hair off….headbands won’t help me.

  6. The cats have learned that when they touch noses with me, they get zapped and have stopped doing it.
