I am soooooooooooooooooo close to finally finishing those socks. They are a dream to knit and I love the colors, but my sockly ADD has gotten the best of me. Those who are counting: this is unfinished sock number FIVE. FIVE.

But soon, soon, a pair a pair a pair of socks!

As an aside, I’m considering opening up pre-orders for this color/dyeing method, which will not be sold on the loopy ewe or be available for random purchase. Anyone interested? I’m considering offering pre-orders in fingering and sport. This is lolita complex graffiti. I really like this color, I do, but it is pretty labor intensive, so. Speak up in the comments or send me a PM on Ravelry.

Sigh. I can’t believe it’s friday already. Where does the week go? I did send Sheri the first 1/3 of the shipment of fingering yarn the other day, hopefully the next 1/3 tomorrow, and then the last next week. And then….. and then. I have so much to do! It’s a good thing I love what I do, right? All that knitting, all that dyeing, all that *skein winding*. I’m lucky, I really am. And I wanted to thank you, all of you, for your support. Seriously. Can you believe I’ve been in business for six months! Six months and eleven days today!

  1. congratulations! I almost bought some of your yarn at the Loopy Ewe, but I took so long to decide that it was pretty much gone before I got any, so I’m glad you’ve sent more. I’ll definitely pick some up when she Sneaks it up!

  2. Keep it up! Soon it’ll be six years and eleven months… or six months and eleven years? ;)

    Congrats!

  3. I’d be interested in that colorway, probably in fingering.

  4. Congrats!! :) Pretty yarn – it does look complex.

  5. Ooooo, so pretty! I’d love to have a skein of your special yarn.

  6. Yay for six months!

You already know I’m powerless in the face of that color, so yes, please put me down for some fingering.

  7. Woo hoo! Congrats on the six months; that’s fantastic!

  8. I do love that color too so if you’re going to be offering it, I’ll be picking it up.

Don’t forget The Cave Painting yarn. It’s slowly getting to the time when I can actually knit it.

  9. Yay you! You should be proud!

Pssst…I’m in for either weight, whichever you end up making!

*pat pat pat* to the catchen too.

  10. 6 months! That is fabulous! Who would have thought, huh?

  11. I love the look of that yarn i would be interested in either size. Is there anyway you can briefly describe the process? I am going to dye one skein of yarn here at home and like that mottled look, kinda like Araucania. Kinda but brighter….happier. Very pretty. What other base colors besides pink would there be?? I likie:)

  12. 6 months already? Wow. time sure flies…

    Go you businesswoman. :)
