329
23 April 2008Fully blocked! And while it’s lacking the final crochet around treatment to just neaten up the edges, I love it. Love love love love love love it. It only took 329 pins to block out what turned out to be 7 feet long and 20 inches wide.
And of course, the catchen, who hate water, by choice sat on the sopping wet stole for two days. WHY? WHY?
Full FO shots… later. 18 feet of crochet, twice, first. So, you know. That’ll take a while.

Whoa! Serious stole. Stole-zilla?
So Approved!
That’s gorgeous! And the pattern really complements the subtle colorway.
And Harley shows no interest in my knitting, until it’s time to block, when she suddenly has to lay on and knead whatever is being blocked. No reasoning with a cat…
Faulous!!!
Looks great! Wonderful job with the blocking, too.
Why? because they can! You know what cats are like
I’m so happy to see the destiny of this yarn fulfilled! It was meant to be a sumptuous, enveloping stole.
As for the cats, they wanted to be the first in the household to lay claim to the new “blankie.”
Very nice, looks comfy and cozy!
It’s the alluring stink of wet wool. : )
Wow. Serious blocking.
Of course they had to hang on out the sopping wet stole! It’s not officially “water”. It’s a …damp cat bed?
Oh wow! It looks wonderful. Of course catchen have to sit on wet stoles - it is their job!
