goodbye, plates

30 days of being sick.

9 screws.

2 plates.

11 things that are gunky and making Rebecca sick.

22 days until they are surgically removed.

25 dollars, the amount that my yarn will cost tomorrow morning.

1 Rebecca, trying to catch up to everything. Thank you for your patience.

My apartment is not very large at all, and for the most part that’s really quite okay. The boys are incredibly well trained, and when I am actively working, they leave me, the yarn, and the workspace alone with scrupulous care.

My work island is 7 feet long and 40 inches wide, and my only regret is I don’t have a second one, because I love this! But that’s okay… money and time. And paying off work debts. Well, might help if I had a larger space first, but one thing at a time, yes?

I hate the pile of boxes, but what can you do? Slowly they’re being eradicated as I mail out yarn and get more drawers.

BTW? you can have your own drawer with your name on it. True story. :)

I can’t help it. I’m a sucker for happy kitty paws.

Feel free to ask for specific pictures or just ask questions about my workspace in the comments!

Happy labor day halloween veterans day thanksgiving chanuka christmas new years groundhog day valentine’s day pulaski day st patricks day birthday mother’s day memorial day to me!

Thank you, gramma.  It was something I had trouble saying yes to (that is one of your gifts, for sure, the whole “we are buying what I said we are buying” thing).

It’s not big, and the charcoal grey I selected is just perfect, and it feels much more comfortable in here.

You know what? Our little family is better for it.

If you can believe it, bellamoden is a year old today! How did that happen? I don’t know, but I can tell you this: I’ve never been busier, more minimal, more messy (see also dye spattered kitchen walls…. who uses flat paint?!?! apparently: this apartment complex), and happier in my life.

It’s all due to you! Every one of you. Thank you. Truly.

One of the projects I’m working on right now is that I’ve made a huge pile of this yarn:

redtent2

Which is a special new yarn base – superwash merino bamboo fingering. That’s the red tent colorway.

What’s that for? For this (just a sneak peek for you and me) scarf, that I’m working on, Dinah:

dinah2

All that, plus stitch markers from Popo Agie Handmade and shipping, are included in the kit, which is available here.

As always, thank you, for the privilege of a job that I love.
